Evok portfolio SensorUp announced today it has been awarded $1M in funding as part of the Clean Resource Innovation Network’s (CRIN) Digital Oil and Gas Technology Competition as part of a larger $44M funding initiative to accelerate solutions that have the potential for significant contributions to environmental and economic challenges faced by Canada’s oil and gas industry, including emissions reduction and climate change. See CRIN’s announcement today.
The funding will be used by SensorUp for the development of its Connected Work platform, which in combination with the company’s methane sensor detection, uses AI and IoT data to improve visibility and timely detection of methane leaks, one of the worst offenders of greenhouse gas emissions.
